What You Take Away from a Session

Every session is shaped around clarity, not complexity. The outcomes below are practical and lasting.

A Clear Record Picture

You leave with a concrete sense of which document categories are worth gathering, and a simple framework for organising them at home.

Labelled Folders, Ready to Use

Printed materials and a small folder set mean you can begin sorting the same day — no extra purchases, no complicated systems to learn.

Household Alignment

The paired session helps two people in the same household reach a shared understanding of where records are kept and how they are labelled.

A Reference Handbook

The reorganisation programme concludes with a printed handbook your household can refer back to at any point in the years ahead.

A Pace That Suits You

Sessions move at a considered rate. There is no pressure to work through more than you are comfortable with in a single sitting.

Strictly Informational Scope

Eldermark stays within document organisation and general categories of records. We do not comment on entitlements, income, or personal legal matters.

A Small Step Now Makes Things Clearer Later

Whether you are a year away from retirement or beginning to think about later life, an Eldermark session gives you a steady starting point for your records.

Things People Often Ask

If you have a question not listed here, please reach out directly — we are glad to help.

What exactly happens in a briefing session?

A facilitator walks you through general categories of personal records that tend to be relevant in later life — such as identity documents, property papers, and household accounts. We cover how to store and label these, and you leave with a printed briefing sheet and a small folder structure. The session is informational; we do not review your specific documents or offer opinions on personal financial matters.

Is this a financial planning or legal service?

No. Eldermark is a document organisation and records information service only. We do not provide financial advice, investment opinions, legal counsel, or commentary on EPF entitlements, pensions, or any income-related matters. For those areas, you would need to consult a licensed professional.

How long does the Records Reorganisation Programme take?

The programme is delivered across multiple sessions spread over a few weeks, allowing time to gather materials between appointments. The pace is unhurried by design — sessions are scheduled to suit your availability and the amount of material being covered. Most participants complete the programme within four to six weeks.

What do I need to bring to a session?

Nothing is required for your first session. It is an orientation, so you come as you are. For later sessions in the reorganisation programme, we will provide a short preparation checklist so you know which types of documents or folders to bring along.

Can a family member attend with me?

The Records Pairing Session is designed precisely for this — two members of the same household, or a trusted pair, attending together to align on shared records. For the individual briefing, a second attendee may join at your request, though the session content is formatted for one primary participant.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held at our Johor Bahru office at 24 Jalan Tebrau. The space is quiet and comfortable, suited to an unhurried conversation. For clients who find travel difficult, please contact us to discuss options.

Are the session fees inclusive of all materials?

Yes. The session fee covers all printed materials, the folder set, and the facilitator's time. There are no additional charges for materials unless you request additional copies of printed items at a later date.
